At the start of 2009, a new burlesque home for the “fetish-SM-goth-kinky” community was opened. It’s name: Equipage.
With a short New Year’s introductory event and the opening party on January 16, 2009, sophisticated night owls with a sense for aesthetics, burlesque beauty, depravity and style now had a new space for sensual play, relaxing and art. The salon location with its 250 square metres was opened by a team led by Robert and Conny, who had already made a name for themselves with the label “Stallwache”. The venue offers various separate rooms fitted out with top-quality play equipment.
It can be hired by external hosts looking to celebrate their own events, including vernissages and exhibitions. The intention is to become a meeting point for like-minded people from all over the world.
The term “equipage” refers as a whole to the equipment and livery associated with horse-drawn carriages, including the carriage itself, its equipment, the driver and servants, their livery, and the number and race of the horses with their harnesses and other equipment.
